With a wealth of clinical, research and academic experience to share, I can provide specialist LGBTQ+ clinical supervision, research supervision and consultation to help you to better understand and address LGBTQ+ inequalities.

Supervision for Therapists and Psychologists

As a Clinical Psychologist, accredited CBT practitioner and trained supervisor, I can provide specialist clinical supervision for CBT therapists, clinical psychologists and counselling psychologists. This might be one-off or ad-hoc consultation sessions, or on-going supervision. I enjoy providing supervision as a safe, supportive and challenging space to elevate your practice, reflect, deepen empathy and theory-practice links, and shared problem solving.

I draw on CBT, compassion-focused therapy, systemic, relational and intersectional frameworks, and LGBTQ+ affirmative models and research including minority stress. My supervision training is integrative, with a relational focus on process dynamics and CBT. If you are a clinical psychologist or counselling psychologist seeking BABCP accreditation, I can also help with this. 

Supervision is charged £100 per 60 minutes, feel free to reach out for an initial complimentary discussion.

Consultancy and Reflective Practice

I can provide one-off or on-going consultation to organizations around mental health and LGBTQ+ mental health issues, be it case-specific, a general issue or for up-skilling. I have provided reflective practice for a number of teams within the NHS and can provide a safe, supportive space for the team to reflect together. Reflective practice can help foster shared learning (in general or around recurrent themes, or a difficult incident) and promote team cohesion. We will agree a contract and how I can help following an initial discussion.

The hourly rate per consultation is £150 and we can discuss a bespoke package following a complimentary initial discussion.

Research Supervision and Consultancy

Are you conducting research with LGBTQ+ populations? Or perhaps you are an organisation hoping to better understand the needs of your LGBTQ+ employees or an external LGBTQ+ population to improve your services? I can provide specialist research supervision and consultancy to conduct projects to understand and address LGBTQ+ people's needs in various settings, using a range of quantitative and/or methods dependent on the research question and aim.

I draw upon intersectional frameworks, models of intervention development and evaluation, LGBTQ+ research and evidence including minority stress, and research experience in various NHS, academic, community and third sector settings.
